Oh man, sorry for your loss. I know what its like.

From all the threads and posts regarding NTT deaths, its evident that at sizes below 5 inch (especially 1.5 - 2.5 inch), they can often perish and die.

Try to find greater than 5 - 6 inch in size. Ther're pretty tough and hardy past this size.

It looked like he was beaten up a bit, by the marks near the mohawk ???
 
i know it sucks. see i thought it was thinbars are indo's. i didn't know they die like that. but yeah it wasn't really getting picked on, but towards the end the mohawk was starting to get pink looking. that's why i tried the salt at the last minute, thinking it was parasites or something..
 
Thinbars are from Thai bro... I dont know much beyond that. Im extremely Noobish.

I think he was an at... Aquascape an online vendor here sell thin bar and at dats cheap and you recievie the fish next day!
