I have the following list of cories which are available. Thinking of doing a pack of one species. Which of the following would you choose?

LOL. It's going into my 90 gallon planted tank with pH of 6.2, KH 2.5, and temperature hovering in the 82-84 range. Just want to go with a single pack of any of the above since that's all the room that I have for the moment.

Well, I'd say "setup more tanks" normally but instead I'll recommend to go with Corydoras sterbai. I think they're a very neat cory. Why do you only want one group of them? I'd imagine you could have several species in the same tank.
 
Eric, I am fond of sterbai also, actually, it's a very stylish :) cory, very nice and clean look to it.

But my ALL TIME favorite has got to be Trilineatus, the arabesque pleco of the cory family:

Love them. If I were doing a big colony, I would not even think twice :)
 
Corys are so cute but the smallest fish I have right now is a Serrasalmus compressus, lol. We used to have some Aneus but got rid of them when one got lodged in a Geophagus' throat (boy was that some surgery). Now we don't have anything that even Geos could cohabitate with!

Corydoras are quite dull in coloration. If you are looking for something interesting, you might want to consider duplicareus or "green laser". Two of the more interesting ones from the list. Robinae also have interesting markings but lack the orange or green.

My advice about Corys is "Don't take any notice of my advice about Corys".
I'm no expert on catfishes of any sort and there are several names on that list that I don't recognise.
FWIW I'd avoid the albinos like the plague and I'd probably pick splendens or barbatus because I think they are cooler than Corys; on the other hand I still remember seeing some big wild paleatus with wonderful tall dorsal fins years ago - there's a lot to be said for having really nice specimens of 'everyday' species.

Thanks for your thoughts, guys. I'm still awaiting word back on availability of duplicareus and agassizii, so we'll see how many of each he has. :)
