the tank isn't planted yet but will be soon. Because of availability in the area I think I have to rule out geos. plus i think the whole temp change with them might throw the other fish off. So I think my main picks right now would be sevs or angels. I have my eye on a few angels at the store I work at so I could get my discount. I need to get these reletively soon because I hear the pickings are slim in the winter months. With angels, would I need to nix my gouramis? I have heard that they may not get along. and is there any way to sex angels. I haven't done a whole lot of research on them yet.

i don't know about gouramis and angels in the same tank...... and i'm guessing there are ways to sex angels but i don't know enough about angels to help. sorry dude

The sevs will destroy your plants. If you want slow-moving-majestic-like fish then angels, discus and festivums are good choices. Sajicas will do well with plants too, or why not an Hypselacara Temporalis.

I'll check those out as well. Thanks for the advice everyone. Any more ideas out there?

Hypselacara Temporalis have been known to uproot plants. And would a 75 be too small for a pair if I have more fish in there with them?

Sajicas look cool but I can't find a whole lot of info on them as far as size and tempermant. All I found were crappy forums with no info off google.

Festivums would do well but not a lot of color. I don't know much about thier personality though.

Discus are hard to keep from what I hear. Especialy with the water in my area. Beautiful fish but I don't want to mess with lugging RO all the time.

Angels are looking better and better with my setup.

If anyone has expierence with Sajicas or Chocolate Cichlids let me know what you think.
