Morning bump!

id say go with a ducati red and a couple tasteful bit in white...well maybe flat black instead of white..but whatever you do dont do flames, i find it kind of tacky and just leave it for the harleys

NICE.....:headbang2
I would keep the stock paint job. I guess it will depend on what kind of rider you are?

1. Canyon Rider
2. Stunt Rider
3. Weekend cruiser
4. Hang out in the corner w/friends and look cool...haha
5. Overall Squid... which is probably same as 4...

I myself loved to Canyon Ride. Here in So.Cal I would hit the Crest & Mullholland Dr. over the Malibu canyons. Ate dirt a few times which is expected so I never considered getting an upgrade paint job on my R1. However I rode my GSXR to a point where I was riding w/no fairings..LOL..

As i got older and wiser and realized that I wanted to live.. I eased up on the Canyon riding and re-painted my GSXR. I like the more GP look and style paint job on crouch rockets.

What's insane is that for every upgrade I ever did on my previous GSXR to enchance the performance & handling, my stock R1 came with it out the door..LOL..HAHAHA

Pictured is my old GSXR.

So overall, I guess it comes down to if a new paint job will be worth it depending on the style of riding you do.

If I wanted Duc red, i'd just buy a Duc!

#1 I do a lot of riding in the mountains between Sacramento and Tahoe.
Icehouse, Wentworths Springs, Salmon Falls, Old Forest Hill, and Mosquito Ridge.

I would love to be in SoCal, even with the little bit of precipitation we've had, most of the good routes are under snow.

One of two things are going to happen with this bike;

1) This bike will be a track bike when I buy a new one

2) This bike will be a trade in when I buy a new bike.

I may have posted this before, but I'll say it again. The cost of a full body kit is just a little more than the cost of the few blue pieces I need.
