Picked this cat up today for a nice price, please ID for me.

I need to read better. They are both now listed as Zonancistrus. The new L052 is also known as a Butterfly, as is the L168. L104 which is the first picture, or the clown pleco was redesignated to Panaqolus Maccus.

we had bothL168 & L104 imported as the same species
after the lfs realised they sold off the L104 cheap cos they were not correct ( I got them :D ) now L104 are for sale at triple the price :D

a guy was selling for $10 and I didn't know. :-(

I had a similar looking pleco listed as common name "atabo" any pleco with a low profile is going to want alot of current to be happy so give him a powerhead or two if you can.

I can get Clown L104 for around $10 at 2" size. That is just standard price.
 
yeah Davo I got a good deal esp. if the little fellas breed then its all good:D

there are up sides to the high prices...
