Picked up a 125, needs work!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Black seams look really good IMO and I don't know why they don't do it more often, guy I bought my 90 off of resealed his in black, and it really put a nice finishing touch on his rift cichlid setup, as he had a white substrate and a black stand.

Starting to come together. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Decided to break it down and redo the seams:

Next up I have to stain the stand, and make doors for it, sort out bulkheads and figure out the w/d plumbing.

Awesome work man! Looks like everything came together perfect, and I'm sure it's gonna certainly pay off when it's done. I can't wait to see more pics once it's stained with the doors on it and all the plumbing is situated.

Wow! Looks very sano in black. Good job.

Alright so this has turned into a thread about the 120 I'm keeping. The 125 is still sitting on my patio waiting for someone to be willing to pay for it ;) (hey I might as well make a buck on it!)

Checking out where I'm gonna put the 50g sump/w-d/refugium thing

The trim will be cut to fit once the tank is on the stand. I'm hoping to tack it into place to hide the scratched up bottom black frame on the tank.

Looks good! I bet you are glad that you decided to go with the black silicone now that it is done! Can't wait to see it when it's all put together and you get your fish in place.

WOW. I never though of using music string to separate the glass panels. That kinda sounds easy. Maybe I'll try that on my leaker tank.
