Picked up a beast....straight from the General

Ah, big blue as I used to call him. Great fish with tons of personality. He was a truly awesome fish. When I received him he was 4.5-5" or so and she was 3.5-4". I have video of them on my YouTube channel, search "anewbreedx008x" you'll see him when he was younger. He went from 5 to 14+ inches in about 2.5 years. Always spawning with his girl once a month or so.

Glad you have him Drew, if you ever do decide to get rid of him please let me know first! I would have to make room. He looks great, healthy and happy.

He is a beast by every definition of the word. I give his lady a hiding spot and when he gets to be too much she darts off and all is well 5 min later. He absolutely can't stand me which only makes me like him more.

That is the best part about breeding these fish they constantly out due their parents. Luckily this pair breeds better than rabbits. I am patiently awaiting to put the general line and the magnum-x line together to see what freckled monstrosity we can create.

How's everything? New baby?

I am sorry to report that this guy isn't going anywhere unless I leave the hobby. And that would have to be by force. I totally love this guy. Thanks for growing him out. I am catching my other male up to him as we speak. They continue to spawn monthly. If you want to grow out some fry hit me up and we can make that happen. I also have f2 gorillus fry blue and black and my other mag pair has f2 fry as well. Should you ever get the umbee bug again don't hesitate to call and request some.

You can kiss and suck a guy, have lots of tanks, lots of fry/fish, breed umbees with friends and team work, tryin to get to make an ultimate umbee with wild Rio mag umbees.. Lol. its allllll good because it's fun and keeping u sane.
