Picked Up a New Fish

What looks stressed about the Mayan? People on here claim everything with bars is stressed. That's how a healthy mayan is suposed to look!!

Nice pick up on the dovii, and you have one of the best looking mayans I've seen in a while.

If I'm wrong forgive me my bad............however i was under the impression that mayans were more reddish rather than yellow/grey

Nahh, mayans don't have a ton of bright color. Just some red with mixed in greens and yellows. All the alduts have the strong bars. I think it's just the oposite with them, no bars = stressed mayan.

That's why everyone is always so ticked off when they festae that they just bought is really a mayan. No where near the colors of a festae, but not the ugly fish they are made out to be either.

Very true. I am personally not a uro fan but I don't think they are that bad. But I'm not a fan of any of the barred fish. I prefer the color!!

I dont think thats an RD or midas. Its body shape is waaaay of to be either, it looks like the fish at my LFS labeled as something else but the name eludes me. I am pretty sure it aint RD or Midas though.
