Picked up a new heater. Good review

I love my jagers. I have 2 250s thats been running for 5 yrs and a 300 that I just bought last week. Never had a problem with them, the tanks temp stays constant even if it is winter

I know alot of people live by them. I just happen to have had a few fail. I think with most heaters on the market are pretty poor quality. I mean most of these heaters. Even the "good ones" are under 50$ yet a gallon of most media is more then that lol.

That being said it's been over a week and the hydor 400w is still doing its thing. keeping the tank at 82 and shuts off alot more then my 2 250 Jaggers.

Like I said. There all cheap and poorly made. I bet if actual research is done the fail rate would be pretty even.

I think they are all pretty expensive for their quality. Those companies just try to make money as the first goal.

Still have nothing but good things to say about this heater. No issues yet. I even left the lid off by accident and it maintained the same temperature.

Heater is still working great. I added my 75 and 90g to the sump system this weekend. Totalling the Gallons to exactly 400 including sump. My 90g was using a Hydor 300 and the 75 had a Jager 200.

I put the 300w hydor in the sump and removed the jager 200 from the equation completely.

700w total for 400g of water and I have no problem keeping 82 throughout the entire system.

cool, my 300w hydor is doing solid on the 180g as well. I think the fx6, 2262 and ac110 are also adding heat to the mix as well, otherwise I doubt it would hold 78 deg all day long so well this winter
