Could not believe he was in the LFS, labeled as a False Tig. I went home to read more about him on planet catfish. Then rushed back to the store to pick him up, he is small maybe 5" to 6" not counting trailers, pics coming soon.. Any words of wisdom or advice from current or former owners on this cat.....what can I expect in terms of growth during the first year ....:nilly: :nilly: :mwave: :nilly: :nilly:

I suggest that you provide more water current in the tank as they tend to my curl gill after some time. Waiting for the pic....

he's in my 6' growout I have two circulation pumps in there already to circulate the water for my plecos. One has a Flowrate of 420 GPH and the other pushes 260 gallons per hour, no dead spots in this tank, too much or not enough?

What does your cat eat? love your avatar pic, feel free to post another pic in this thread.

Have you had gill curl in your catfish from poor current? Also, is the jurense in your avatar yours? Nicest I have seen. beauty. Thanks Rich
 
Mr Pleco haven't you realized that we love pics around here yet! lets see the little guy! I love these cats (actually more then the expensive true tigs. I like jurs heads better...) But they never have them at the lfs around here!
