Yup! the jurunense in my avatar belong to me and it has curl gill. it feed mainly on feeder fish and market prawn.

These are great looking fish. Has anyone ever kept them together with a tig?

I had a 7" in a 200 gal with a 8" tig and as long as they didnt bump into each other there was no problems but my tig was definately more aggressive and would whack the jur if he got too close.

Very Nice, I never had a big jurense. When I get my pond heated I will get more catfish. I lost a tiger shovelnose to cold weather he was 4 ft. long and 18 pounds when he died.

here's two pics of the new addition, they are out of focus. My camera's , autofocus /macro does not reach the back of the tank it appears. I'll keep trying for a clearer pic.

I've kept the tank full of guppies until he's acclimated and a little larger.
