Haha you're a fiend Ryan. Can you guys post pics of your juvi kelbs?

He hasn't eaten anything since I bought him 1 1/2 days ago. He just looks at the bloodworms and doesn't even go near the pellets. I'm hoping he'll learn from example because his other tankmates pretty much down market prawn, pellets, and blood worms. Or do you guys think I should just bite the bullet and get some feeders?
Save yourself the heartache and send him to Ryan :grinno: Lol. JK, nice lil guy btw. But you should srsly send him to me instead.

If he is in fact a kelberi, they're known to be VERY stubborn eaters. You might have to fold and get him some feeders if he doesn't eat soon.

Yeah I read that Kelb info thread. If I'm gonna go the feeder route I'm gonna throw it in the 30G by itself for now till it bulks up and can be weened off it. I don't want the other fish eating feeders.

heh no worries man, if he is a kelberi thats one crazy deal. :headbang2:D

yea kelberi are known to be stubborn eaters, try other means of food, live if it comes down to it, ill post a pic of my 3-4in kelberi in a sec for comparison.

kelberi is yellow one, he doesnt grow to fast, the orino and the azul have outgrown him and the orino is younger then him but the azul is around the same age.

Hmm the line on the tail has gold around it correct? My little dude doesn't have that, but it does have gold around the third spot and the tail spot. Same kinda spangling too. We'll see how the fish turns out.

Thanks, it ate some bloodworms today and was staring at the other fish while they were downing pellets so maybe I won't have to resort to feeders.
