Picked up my first Bichir this evening

What brand of sand I was thinking on getting sand for mine just not sure what's a good brand of sand,
I know people use play sand or pool sand just clean it real good before you use it,
How would you clean the sand ??

Speaking of sand... i got a creek by my house tht is loaded with it. Anybody have thoughts on collecting sand??? Could i use it and how do u go bout cleaning it?? o and good find on the sens. got mine a couple months ago and i am addicted!
