screwing them together? doesn't the screws rust? and doesn't rust+fish= not good? sorry not trying to be sarcastic just wondering but i mean thats a great idea! and looks very nice just wondering about the side effects.

Yes we used rust proof screws. My boyfriend works in a window company so we get all sort of good stuff for fish tanks. 
The screws are made of brass, btw.

cool. I probabely won't add any more driftwood because due to decreasing the room for them to swim in the tank. Unless a show tank style large piece of driftwood comes along then I'll have second thoughts.
