Ok, I knew they had more bars. These are the most patterned endlecheri I've ever seen. I was comparing to the photo on the species update for Congicus. The thick bodies too, most endlecheri I've seen are slimmer.
Due to being captive bred. Wild ones are leaner and have very clean bars. Not so all over the place. Still some nice polypterus!

Are they? The guy who I got them from said he got them as "Congo Bichir." Given the pattern they seemed closer to Congicus vs. the Endlicheri. How do you tell difference between the 2?

Very nice fish. Well now I know more of what to look for. Only Bichir left before I have all species.
Well. Technically you are missing a sp. Dabola still. :hitting: But since it's not an official species yet I guess you could ignore it.
