We're pretty positive they are some type of climbing perch...
And yeah, the cat is pretty docile..believe it or not he's very friendly...He was behind the counter at the store so. he got used to a lot of traffic...I'm thinking about figuring out a way to re-secure my lid though, incase he decides to be true to his name and become the 'walking catfish' lol
