Picked up two 4" festae

Is he the only pro? Pretty sure there is more. Such as umbeeking..... Or fastfishleo? I have a very nice pair of festae. But i am not pro but i can see i difference between a male in female and done a decent job at it.
And from my experience green on the face usually would tell me that they are from Ecuador.

Is their only one expert on things? No there isn't. I don't think that's a good tell since Ecuador doesn't allow exports so the line could be mixed.

Your right is could be mixed which most are. But the green on the face mostly comes from Ecuador that is what i was saying. I have a pair that was breed from a wild caught pair which one was from Ecuador and the other was from Peru.

Wow!! Lol I for one don't think I'm a pro, more less expirienced. And nobody knocked any other expirienced Festae keeper. They just haven't responded. So please don't mis interpret anything that was said or mentioned. Also for the record Umbeeking and I are alot closer friends than any of you know:) but I do disagree that Ecuador Festae are the only ones with green faces. IMO unless you know for a fact or can prove where Festae originated from, nobody can accurately determine a location by the looks. And these two in the thread are a bit too small to 100% sex. All of us are basically guessing, some of us with stronger suspicions:)

Yes there is a ban from exporting out of Ecuador but that isn't stopping people from transporting across the border and shipping from Colombia or Peru:)
