I caught a lot of pickerel up in maine this summer and ive started to like them a lot. Where can I buy one though?

i got mine from zimmerman's on the nanfa forum (forum.nanfa.org)
he ships, so if he has some you can probably get them there for a decent price. both of my fish are still doing great!!!

You can also try Paul at aquaculturestore.com and one member (teleost?) was selling these not long ago.
Wait so I was looking t this site and It said that pickerel may only be fed live foods... I thought I could convert them but apparently not?
They should be able to be weaned onto prepared foods, I wouldn't see why not. I used to have a baby tiger muskie and he ate pellets and krill. They are normally motion-oriented predators, but mine ended up figuring out that pellets were food. He first started chasing them when they were kicked around by the filter flow.
Oh man. I couldn't tell you how many Pickerels I have caught over the years. Can be a pain in the ass, but cool fish nonetheless.
