its not spawning season? are u kidding me. spawning season is differs from a month to 2 months depending on were u live. its been cold as crap up here and yes they are grass pick fry. they were the only ones in the tank so there sure not rock fry

They could be. its hard to tell from the pics. What I am interested in is the egg mass, how large was it, I have been trying to measure these clumps in the wild for a while, but always seems that I am late or early. Thanks.

Please give it a rest...those are not Esox fry
Here is a nice big blow up of your fry that are not in anyway shape or form Esox.

I'm not sure what type of idiots you think your dealing with here but we actually make a living out of working with this stuff please... just STFU and go away...

Ummm... Ok... so now Pickerel are not only laterally compressed fish they also spawn over gravel ????? Oh yeah and they are free swimming and varied in size in how many days????

i dont know i have some large rocks in the tank with a little java moss i was trying to grow and some fake plants and one day i woke up and looked in the tank and the babies were swimming.

I do not care, what I want is clump size data. We will determine whether they are pickerel when they get larger. Please.
