So I'm upgrading to a new 120 gallon tank tomorrow! I have a dovii breeding pair with the male being 6 inches and the female at 5 in and one 4 in pleco. Is there any other fish I might be able to put in there to have some diversity? Open to all suggestions if there are any!

I wouldn't recommend any fish to go into your Dovii tank.
Your Dovii would just terrorize it.

I'd leave that tank with just those two. I have been under the impression that a breeding pair full grown need a larger tank than that, so I will be interested to see how yours turn out.

^^ agreed with the top two post above me. dovii's are VarY territorial when they come to breeding and can and will kill your pleco.

in some cases.
i don't think your 6" dovii's will kill your pleco though.
they shouldn't anyway.
maybe a 12" dovii might, but only if the pleco was newly introduced.

My pleco goes pretty much unharmed in the tank right now and they were introduced to the tank at the same time. I was thinking maybe a catfish or maybe some clown loaches.

wouldn't recommend it.

Hmm well I might try it just to see if I can get away with it. If not then I will just give the fish back to the pet store and keep my dovii in the tank by themselves.

alrighty, i'll be the guy saying "i told you so in this thread in a few days" lol = D

Probably be dead before you can give them back. My baby Aequidens Rivulatus already killed one of 5 danios with no signs of abuse and they are FAR less agressive.
