Yeah I understand that my dovii are extremely aggressive but maybe there will be an exception haha I will try it and see how everything goes.

Probably be dead before you can give them back. My baby Aequidens Rivulatus already killed one of 5 danios with no signs of abuse and they are FAR less agressive.

Your Dovii will chase them 'til their dead. I put 3 Red Tail Tinfoil Barbs [3"] in my 77 gallon with my 4" Dovii thinking they were fast enough to handle the aggression and by morning - all doing laps lifeless around my tank.

Lemme know how it goes.. I plan on putting my Dovii pair I'm growing out into a 120 as well. Should last them till they are in the 10-12" range.

he's adding loaches though.

Ah.. yea that won't float. I've only been able to keep a dovii pair together, never any other tank mates.. not even a common pleco.

My little Dovii so far hasn't even thought about his Pleco friend taking over turf. They share a cave to haha. My Dovii doesn't like his brother though, he'll chase the other little Dovii up into the corner of the tank. I'm still thinking of what I should do with the smaller dovii.

I've had my dovii pair in a 55 gallon breeder when they were around the 3in mark with my pleco since January and they've bred once and don't pay the pleco any attention. I probably won't get loaches considering they would just become expensive feeders like my 4 tinfoil barbs were earlier this month. I just picked up the 120 with everything included for $300 off craigs list, even the stand that I have to pick up tomorrow since it wouldn't all fit in my truck. I will get pics once I have everything set up.

great idea, is it a 6 foot tank? cause that would be sexier than sex.
