Agreed.....3 will do good in a 55gal. get one ac110 and a fluval405.for filtration.

Would 2 emperor 400s work a lfs here has them really cheap as well as 250's

i have yet seen a gulpers for less the $100. as for filteration, you can use a cascade 1500...it's cheap to boot.

yep...that filter would work good. as for me...i like canister filters. but the emperor 400's are good as well.
