picking up 300g glass sunday.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
this version of the sand is for freshwater and is ph neutral. says it will not alter water chemistry. its not the argonite sand.

Important: Saltwater or African Cichlid Aquariums: Instant Aquarium is also safe for use in saltwater aquariums. Keep in mind that Instant Aquarium is a pH neutral product and proper pH for marine aquariums must be maintained by a marine buffer. from the bag..

moved it in about an hour ago. took 6 of us, but i own a moving company so that made it a little easier. lol only took about 30 minutes. ill get some pictures tonight.

The Ciribsea sand with live bateria is for saltwater tanks. Is there any particular reason you went this route over say cheap pool filter sand?

That stuff is never live anyway..

LOL I just picked up a 450 and my wife said the same thing......."so now you can get rid of the smaller tank?" obviously she was thinking because the fish are moving to the bigger tank I wouldn't need the smaller tank................so pretty. Ya gota love em ;)

im going to keep this 1 simple. sand, few decorations, NO PLANTS!!
i have a few 40 t5's laying around. ill throw 2 of them on it. id like to get some sort of nighttime led though.

my 125 is a ton of work. lots of plants, co2 inj, high lighting,uv and ei doing. 50% water changes a week gets annoying. and dont forget trimming plants.

negotiations are going slow ;) but i think i can pull it off.

here are some pictures before i stain the base. it dwarfs the 125.

The stand is coming along nicely. I like the looks of that 300.
