Overnight is sufficient but if it wasn't a 75%-90% WC but say 25%-50%, it may not matter - you can test any time.

BTW, feeding shouldn't matter either. In a properly filtered tank, ammonia and nitrate must be at zero even after a heavy feeding.

75-90%? That scares me to change that much water at once with fish in it....
That doesn't do a big affect on the bacteria?
All I did was a 30% water change haha

How big is the tank? You could do a drip system.. Eliminating water changes if you drop enough gpd
 
Nice size tank.

When I did WC's, my usual was 75%. Now everything is on drip / trickle or stream.
 
Yes. The two are not related. For the sake of the argument, there is no BB's in water. They live on the surfaces, in a usual tank 90%-99% in your filter biomedia. The water column contains maybe 0.01% of the total tank BBs. Utterly insignificant, if that's what you are worried about.
