well duh.. thank you caption obvious .. lol but the whole thing is scratched up in some way ...

so thats why i asked about buffing and cleaning.
 
Congrats on the purchase! I reccomend sump ,visi therm stealth heaterl. And ofcourse about 50 bichirs.
 
yup unit is in ok shape .. but really needs the seals re done. and some TLC but should be good to go in about a week.

to buff out the light scratches. seems like it should work since its for windshields for cars..

you know i tried a few different things and it would just take to long for what you get out of it. i just hope that full of water that the thing looks better then empty.

Today i cleaned the S*^T out of the thing and also re sealed the tank. Thank god for painters tape looks like a pro did the job. i have the stand in its new home my bed room whoo hoo.. and have the Fx5 in the stand (which i had to modify via a sawsall) and maybe tomorrow i will be able to put the tank on the stand and start the fill and move my fishes to there new home.

lol its the test fill .. so its in my kitchen so if something happens i can clean it up :-p

but when i move it onto the stand and fill it there will be pics

btw its about 1/2 full and going strong
