nice. great job acclimating them. they look happy already. did you feed them yet? if your aro gets skittish turn of the light for a day. but he looks happy. keep us updated.
 
Barbels are knubs - similar fish bought by friends a while back have regrown theirs - we'll see what happens. I'm not incredibly broken hearted over it, considering I only paid $150 for the guy.

Don't think I'm going to feed them until tomorrow or later tonight, depending on how bored I get when I start drinking hehe.

They may grow back or they may not. Main thing is you enjoy that monster in the making!:)
 
Baby steps - if I knew for a fact that I love arowanna I'd go out and spend 300+ on a Grade A specimin. This is just a feeler. I've been doing cichlids and only cichlids for 15 years now, figured I should try and venture out now that I'm older and have a higher bank roll :)
