thanks i'm now shopping around for a 200g...the biggest i saw in the store was 135g $575 for tank, stand and lights....

so now i'm just trying to coerce the wife into letting me put the big aquarium in the house instead of the garage....

you should try looking for a bigger tank online and yard sales first instead of buying it from the store since you can find really really good deals online and sometimes in yard sales

Don't settle for anything smaller then a 6' x 2' x 2' that size tank will last you a few years until your aro is nearing the28-30" mark

first time a saw him eat last night....i wasn't sure if he was eating those hikari sticks....because i would drop them in and after a few hours it will be gone (didn't know if he ate them or if it started sinking and got sucked up by the filter.)...but last night i cut some tilapia fillets and hanged it near near the top and even my kid was awed when she saw him eat the tilapia fillet. i'm gonna get some krill see if he likes that...

this fish is pickier than my two daughters

wow thats a nice cruisin baby... he is smooth and sure of himself too..like his attitude! Don't forget weigh down top of tank and cover all holes with duck tape..would not want anything to happen to this baby..

And worst comes to worst, spring for the larger tank now. It's a real pain needing to buy a whole other large tank down the road to save some cash now. Get what you need to begin with, and you'll save in the long run!

yeah all holes are secured and i tape down the lids for now...until i get some velcro strips to use instead.
