After having to give up my shoal of 30 big loaches (largest 25 cm) last year due to a move internationally I finally managed to find a couple of larger fish to add to my current shoal of thirty 5-10cm fish. The smaller of the two is 26cm (10.3 inch) and the larger but thinner fish is 27cm (10.7 inch).
The owner was parting with the fish after 20 years as he wanted to do a planted tank with just aussie and PNG natives and the cl´s kept trashing his plants.
Just to get a feel for the size of the fish the end of tank shot is of my 6 x 2 x 2 footer. The last photo is a bit out of focus but shows one of my 5cm cl´s sitting above the 27cm fish.
