If you read my post carefully, I also said to treat them to other things as well. Pellets as a staple is better than just... all the other 'not-as-nutritious' food ...

If you read your OWN post carefully, you would notice you said to strictly feed pellets and only give everything else as a treat ONCE a week. That kind of diet is completely fail. Sure, pellets are nutritious, but definitely doesn't have everything an aro needs. You should be fed a variety EVERY day, not once a week.

I do feed fresh prawns with no shell. I am happy my oscars don't like them or my rays would never get fed

in my experience , next to criket , prawn is their favorite, i'll starve him a bit more and see if he would take some
