my supplier had some of these sword spine snook and indo pacific tarpon. Both living in complete fresh water. I couldnt pass the snooks up!

99% positive you have common snook there. I have 2 swordspines. Look at the anal fin of the one in my avatar. Much longer second spine than the one in your pic as far as I can tell. The spine should extend past the caudal peduncle fir it to be a swordspine.
