Pics, new pickups today..green terror, and funky colored oscar

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's just a red oscar. They have lots of orange or red and not much of a pattern. There are also tiger, red tiger, and albino oscars. (albino tigers too? not sure about that)

Plus the wild type ones.

i know but it has weird colors

lol. i hope YOU enjoy your unique oscar. if it is a regular red oscar-hopefully it develops some crazy patterning. i've had your setup several times(w/o pbass). i think you'll be surprised how quick that oscar will grow in that large tank. g/luck

any input on the strange oscar coloring?
I have seen some real cool looking juvenile oscars, even one that was silver, but they turn out a copper color when they get older. Most commons end up looking the same or very little difference, that could be why people arn't jumping on your thread.

Its a dirty lemon O :D
Not a common orange/red or anything.
Good pick up.

Here's mine, a clean one though... About 8-9 months ago.

Keep your water pristine and feed high quality foods.
Your O will grow beautifully.

You bought some pretty blurry fish! Kidding. I think your O looks very unique. Keep the water right and grow it out. Hope it stays different. keep us updated

Looks like its going to be nice, but that just a guess. j/k I love Oscars!
