I love African pikes! I bought one about a year again and it's one of the few fish that my jar has killed ... he was just too small (I have an unusually passive jar). I'd love to get one again, but I haven't been able to find one that's big enough yet.
The tank looks cool ... IMHO you need a centerpiece fish still. How about an mbu puffer?
That funny, I was thinking about mbu puffer, I was under the impression they don't go well will other fish. Mind you that has never stopped me before. I was also considering leaving it as is, and doing some tanning on the Super Reds in the future........Hmmmmm....

I don't have any pics yet, but its a 60 gal sump with foam, 20 gal bio balls, 2 kg's of bio max, and a gallon of efhi substrat. Powered by 2 AQ-6000 pumps neting 860 gal/hr circulation.
beautiful tank..and someone mentioned Drama..i agree.. there is some drama to your set up..maybe it is the wood that sets it off.. really nice pikes.. i do not know much about rays but he looks healthy,
