Pics of a big Lac jaw.

Finally took a vid of Lucy and her side kicks.

Everyone seems to get along aside from the big Clown causing problems. He's getting voted off the island and is currently looking for a new home. Aside from him the rest seem to get along pretty good all things considered. My main concern was the Aimara shredding the smaller wolfs but all seems well aside from the Australis taking a split dorsal during initiation from the Iguaza.

Great tank and fish! What kind of wolf is the biggest guy?

Thanks Jay!

She's a Lower Xingu Lacerdae (was told by previous owner that it's a "she" - I have no idea how to tell so who am I to argue? lol)

Nice, is the dark black one Aimara?

Yup! That's "Zool" the guard dog..... I call it a guard dog cause he usually just chills by his hide, but get a net in the tank and he charges right out in front of the rays almost as if he's protecting them. He just sits there staring at me these days, used to get all sorts of crazy charge the glass, flare gills, but seems he's settling down a bit. Still roughed up a lil from trying to conquer the big knife in there - drives the Aimara nuts having the knife by his hide.

Really hard to get pics of. It's so black the camera refuses to focus.

I bet feeding frogs to this tank is going to be pretty interesting this year..... :)

Since when is there a large knife in there?

Probably 6-8 months? Wanted something BIG in there to take the Wolves focus off the Armatus.

Hopefully it will be leaving soon. Think the Aimara is growing tired of it.

Nah leave it in big knives are cool :D got pics?

Will try to get some better ones, but here's one for now....... :)

Just not that into knives....... They don't seem to mix as well with rays and Characins as other Characins....

Amazing just gave it a thumbs up on YouTube. At about 5:25 the aimara puffed up its gills at Lucy lol, must have gotten intimidated, and I see what you mean with the iguaza having little man syndrome, but all in all makes for an interesting tank, seems like everyone has a similar respect. A pack of 12 inch gold wolves would be cool I. There, but by the time he yet that big the aimara would probably be able to snack on them easily and do it. The australis is all over the place it seems. And you say the knife is the only trouble maker, is he the dominant fish or?
