Nice view. We saw some dams like that last year near Mendenhall.

I don't know how anyone could get bored with those surroundings. I would love to get away from everything......

I know but just like me with surfing,if its a remote area for a few days I get the urge to hit a small pub or diner and hang with more ppl.I know what your saying though,just now and then though I think you would want a bit more stimulating things going on from time to time.

No way man..I'd take that scene forever. As long as my friends come by, I would have no use for the city.

Live in seattle for better than 15 years.....Will retire to the eastcoast though....

Thanks for the kind words....It's nice-But the cabin it'self needs alot of work...I bought it for the land....

Hell-Thats why I got a safe full of guns,3-fourwheels,4 snowmobiles(starting to build one for asphalt drags),building a drag car....

I'm not a people person and hate all the life...People now a days are just dip****s.....So I would rather spend the time with my family,and build a future for my daughter-But anyhow sorry for the mini derail....

It is not a derail, much less a mini derail....you're fully right...at the end what stays is family and friends you can count on one hand...

That place / cabin, the absence of noise, and a truck of fine books, would really make me happy...

I have something not as pristine, but it is hot as the arabian desert...not quite the same:)
