Pics of awesome Amazon trip

The trip was 6 days of fishing in a tributary off the Amazon. These pics are a small smattering of the total catch. In 6 days I boated about 300 peacocks and about 50 misc fish (roughly 10 pike cichlids, 6 arowana, some piranha, about 10 aymara/trieda, and many bicuda). The biggest peacocks were 19.5lbs, 16lbs, 15 lbs, 2 14lbs, and several 10-12lbs. Average size was about 3lbs with plenty in the 4-9lbs range. Cost was about $4K plus $1K air. I definitely had a guide; there is virtually no way to do this trip on your own without going through an established operation; you would just be wasting your time and money.

Awesome!!! I have always wanted to go on a trip like that. Congrats on the excellent fishing. And that pike cichlid is sweet.
