the shortnose is one of the coolest fish i've kept. has so much personality. all 3 gars love to huddle up together. n i doubt im selling any of my fish. ill buy more tanks before i sell fish lol. thats just how i am. 1 thing im sad about as far as the gar goes, is he grew so fast when i first got him, the original tank he was in was only 20" wide, he spurted from 12" to 18" within jus a couple months. n swear i started to notice his body develope almost a slight bend to make his swimming easier in the tank, he no longer has this problem in the 30" wide tank so im hoping this "bend" gets straightened out. even tho its really not noticible, i notice everything in my fish.

i need to move the big aros out to the 400gal already man, there gettin fussy cuz everyone dissapeared n is livin it up in the 400, plus i wanna use the 150 to grow out some bichirs n create a nice, calm, community tank.

thanks, it should be sick when i have it set, there's still fish in there that i dont want in there. or not sure about leaving in there. i want some barbs, rays, huge bichirs. its only a matter of time.
 
you sir, have a red tail giant gourami. wether it shows red or not lol. its just a low grade rtgg. mine is a low grade rtgg. at times it shows red, at times it doesn't. mainly jus a basic color like in the pics. but never a super fire red like some rtgg's.
 
wonderful bunch of monsters and some assortment of fish in general.. really enjoyed this show,, love those pair of butti's.. and flowerhorn and always special Arow's, still sensational to see them together like that.. awesome.

Nah they are both just regular GG. Any RTGG will have a good amount of red on the tail no matter how low grade. They are just GG. Still very nice.
