Love the Nic and your rock work, I have a small 3.5" Female hopefully will get some color like yours. here is a pic
That nic. Is good looking just feed a lot of variaty. I feed frozen mysis, live and frozen brine, live and frozen blood worms, earth worms, feeder white clouds, guppys, and ghost shrimp, cichlid staple and gold, and three types of flakes. It sounds like a lot of money but its not they only get any one of those items once or twice a week. Also I feed three small amounts a day. Sometimes I buy the most drab looking fish just to see how colorful I can get it. Sometimes they just stay drab though. Your nic has really nice red under the gill plate that will spread a little as it gets older it has a lot of potential. Just mix the diet. So many people feed 2 or 3 kinds of food and that's it. If that's all you feed make sure you go with a real good flake change brands every other time you buy, I mix cichlid gold and cichlid staple, and frozen shrimps switch back and forth between mysis and brine.

As far as fish go she is the only thing that holds me back. If wasent for her I would have probably would seal up the doors and windows of my house and provide the family scuba gear. But she's really good at other stuff though. Although I have thought about seeing what the lfs would give me for her. She's a great looking female, nice colors, and one he!! Of a breeder. I hope that wasent against forum rules.
