I agree...thats what I was getting at in your 30" tall thread. I was too worried about if I could fit a 30" front to back tank that when I decided it needed to be 24" front to back I just got the 240. I just cant wait any longer and try to sell the 240 and then wait for the 300tall...I just gotta get a tank setup...since Katrina I have been looking at an empty tank on a stand...the last 280 and now this 240 lol. So one day i'll think about selling it to get a 300....

Honestly it's probably not worth the trouble looking into upgrading it. I can understand why you posted on the other thread about the 30" though. Obviously since you have the cabinets built to match the kitchen, it will be their permanently. I was a bit worried about getting a 300, since I could possibly move the tank around in the future.

Ohh its coming with me if I move lol. Unless the home buyers want it and want to pay for it. I can always repaint and glaze it. The style might be different...but whos to say it wont be in a tank room in the next house. This is just the only spot in this house I could fit one this size.

Ah. I noticed the fish room plug. I'm guessing that you are wanting to go on a tank buying rampage sometime in the near future.

One day (not near) when I build "THE" house it will have a room all for me and my tanks. Something big in the middle to walk around and wall to wall tanks. One of which would be a big freshwater setup big enough for me to snorkel/dive in. Much like what you see at the zoo with a 5' glass wall from the floor. One day lol
