Here's some pics of the 55 G tank. Again taken with a camera phone so sorry about quality.

I've got three(5 inch)Sens, two angels and two cories in it. I know, I know... the cories will be moving out into a different tank, as the Sens get bigger...lol.

whats the junk at the bottom of your tank? old gravel?

thats a fat bichir what kind of filtration do you have ? any other tank mates ? looks like a happy bichir though

Lol...yeah they are very happy and fat. Right now I'm using a sponge filter(filters up to 125G) and a Duetto filter.

There are three Sens in there, two angels and two cories(which will be moved out once the Sens get bigger).

But upgrading soon to a canister type. Right now I'm checking out which ones are the good ones. As I'm new to those types.

Would you know which are good ones? Could you recomend one?

Go with Eheim Pro II Series or Rena XP3. Some prefer Eheim Classic but they're a bit too CLASSIC for my taste in canisters. I heard they're the best value for the money and the only downside is that priming can be tricky. They're super quiet and easy to assemble. My bichirs are picky eaters so they will only eat shrimps and carnivore pellets. I love my Fluval FX5.
Not a good idea but FX5 is also a very nice filter. This filter will create too much current for a 55gallon.
