Street, I had a pair awhile back that did the same, they got very territorial of a piece of driftwood I had in the tank. Not sure which one was which (male or female?) but everytime one of them drifted away from the driftwood, the other would go and chase it back into it's place. Later on, found scattered stuck eggs around the driftwood. Kind of looked like red/pink salmon eggs.

They would swim together and take over the drift wood. I wish there were information about breeding these guys.

That is awsome. The pair I have is also very protective of the driftwood. They would chase the other dats. Did you happen to get any frys from it? It will be quite difficult to breed since I have other fish in the tank that would consume the eggs too. I might need to split them up and isolate the pair. Thanks for the feedback

No fry. exactly what happened... other fish tankmates ate them! :(
