Pics of my Indoor Pond

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Id say right at 11-12 inches. He doesnt grow very fast, but he is healthy and eats well, always very alert. Seems to be a very bright fish. Always watching to see what I am up to. No one bothers him.

love it

do you do anything to remove large waste in the pond? things like uneaten food and the such. when i kept my oscars they made a mess out of everything and i had to spend 20 minutes or so sifting through gravel to keep things clean.

Thanks everyone. It does evaporate some, and I get some condensation on the water pipe that runs across the ceiling, but it is generally not a problem. I havent had anything get waterlogged or anything like htat. Not as hard to heat as I thought it would be either. I run about 700 watts of heating to keep it at about 78.

Dimensions are 8 feet by 8 feet by 2.5 feet deep. Comes out to about 1100 gallons.
your pond should be around 997g

hey Astronatus....what kind of wood are you using?

I'm using several pieces of driftwood on my 700 gal tank and the tanin is driving me crazy....fish love the color though...I heard it will take several months to clear...:irked:
