She/he is still a very nice rarer hypancistrus. If you are interested in acquiring a few more contact unungy or even fantasticfins one of them should be able to help you find a few more.
 
I bought it from shark aquarium, about 18 months ago. She was quite small. I've watched her grow.

Thanks for all your help guys. After a bit of research, my pleco has the spots like the l-174, but the l-174 looks like it has a browner body coloration than my fish. The l-400 that I am looking at, has lines instead of spots. I will be able to get better pics tomorrow.
 
It's definitely not L236. They easily fetch well over $300 ea., and I've never seen one sold in any LFS on this side of the world.

It's not L174 either, base colour is much too light. I believe Rich is right in his identification, likely an L400 variant.
 
So She probably comes from the Bello Monte area? thats great. I am glad.

Now to confirm it's a female, and find her a mate!
