Hmmm...doesn't look like a pure temensis. Could this perhaps be one of the so called temonoculus farm boys that people were seeing a while back? Either way, it is a very nice looking pbass. I like it.

Nope,
It's not a Cichla Temensis, nor is it a Temonoculus. It's a Cichla Ocellaris. Juvenile Ocellaris are very common to have gold speckles on them. Very nice Ocellaris though. Actually Ocellaris have now become more scarce in the hobby than Tems, Orinos and Monocs. Grow him out he will look REAL nice at about 14" or so
