What family Is the red devil. nice fish. I also have a RTC that Im trying to get rid off. Is your tank big enough? Looks like the RTC gills are curled.

It is bad. Looks skinny to. what size tank?

Water looks clean. did you get the RTC with the curl already?
looks like a 55gal tank.

no, its not "uhhh very bad" it could just be better.
mine had it at 2" and still has it a 13" and is going strong. nice devil and RTC m8, even besides the gill curl.
 
its a 125 gallon tank and those are the only 2 fish in the tank. I got the red tail a little over a week ago in the shape that he is in. He is feeding fine so I'm sure he will bulk up some. How do i treat the curled gills though???

Lol ok fine. I was viewing from an aro keeping point of view, all the aro's I saw with GC didn't last long if it wasn't treated.
 
do red devils become white as they get older? or is yours an abino??
