Just trying to improve my photography skills (...if you can call them that)

So i thought id share my 4x2x2 with you.

Heres a pic of my big male wild green (started out nice and cocky, but soon got camera shy)

So...Over to the experts.

Any tips and tricks on getting better photos?

Cheers
Craig

i really do love sevs mine isn't the most colourful but yours is super nice :) no fin rips and nice clear eyes :D great job!

i cant tell you how to take better pics! i'm the worst in the world.

I love the normal green/turq. sevs, and yours is a beauty for sure!! :headbang2

For the pics, I have found that luck has a lot to do with it!!

That said, moving the lighting to the front of the tank, and increasing the lighting will help. With the light a bit low, the shutter speed will decrease, giving grainy, washed out pics. This is what I have seen from my own experience, I am by FAR not a good photographer lol...

Here is a "lucky" shot of my turq.:

oh aye, now hes a real beauty.

Right, so big lighting, tank light moved to the front, fast shutter speed.

guessing the main problem is avoiding motion blur and grainy images (see mine for examples lol)

*Edit*Best stop trying now, dirty exabitionists have just started spawning. Guessing they needed a little something to spice up their relationship;) *Edit*
