its starting to look like a male...but if you want a positive 100% guess thats right...just go take him out of the for and flip him upside down and vent him..."U" for Female and "V" Male. Should be easy unless it keeps wiggling and stuff, just try it out
Well yesterday I thought and thought more and decided to do two things:
1. Set up my pond which I did!!
2. I ordered some fish from Rapps and I am really pumped-this will be the ultimate monster cichlid tank in history-anyways here is what I ordered:
Dovii
Jag
Festae
Trimac
Red Devil
Escondido
Black Belt I plan to put them in my 240 gallon and set up my divider.
Once the pond is cycled I will put the Umbee in there and when the other 7 are large enough introduce them to the pond-if every thing works this will be an awesome set up-should I add other fish or would that be pushing it-even for a 1032 gallon pond-I was thinking Black and Varigated Shark maybe an Achara Catfish.

man your so lucky to have an umbee. the wife says a 8ft tank for one 2ft long fish is too much. im seriously disappointed with her attitude towards my hobby

Thanks-do what I did just by the tank then tell the wife-she'll be mad for awhile but will get over it-that is what I did with the pond-LOL-then I told my wife it could be worse I could be addicted to drugs or something illegal-there worse things than being obsessed with fish! LOL!

yea i know what you mean, i have an umbee aswell possibly a male too but as for the women issue...i told my grandma im making a tank/pond downstair near the backyard but its indoor..so like i told her its going to be made out of concrete and next thing you know she says how much is for one bag...i told her "it cost $2.49 per 80 lb bag"...and i told her im going to get about 15-20 bags...and she's all like you only need on bag....i was like "are you high?!" lol cuz like im making a 8'x4'x3' tank/pond for my cichlids and other oddballs...so like can you guys see or even think of a way one 80 lb bag of concrete mixes to make a 4" wall of concrete all around the tank....?
and she says thats alot back in the philippines...and i was like well this isn't the philippines...this is AMERICA

lol i know...why should ppl get mad at us for getting addicted to a fishy hobby and they should know that their are more illegal things that's addicting to other like drugs like you said and drinking and just dealing...
and why is "fish" bad ? lol ppl these days who hate ppl or just the plain hobby are becomeing more and more dumb oh saying "fish is a bad hobby, try getting yourself into a more productive hobby..."
