Your Umbees looking really good. Could we get some more pics? Try to get one of him flaring up.
 
Actually I want to post a video-to see when he bangs the glass or goes at my hand when I clean the tank-I will get that on late July-don't have access to camera-teacher salary ain't to great-LOL!
 
Bad very bad news
1. I am currently treating my now 16 inch Umbee for fungus or cloudy eye-I dont understand how he got it the water is clean and I always keep up with the water changes.
2. Even in the pond he will not accept tankmates currently I have three awesome fish in my 240 Trimac Festae and Red Devil.
Should I part with the Umbee and focus on my new fish or after the Umbee heals keep trying to keep mates-though I think it is highly unlikely he is really aggressive.
 
We'll eye never healed got worse-the only eye is white-however, he is still aggressive and eats a lot-can't put anything with him-actually I think it is a she-so I gave him to my brother in Oklahoma-he has a pond with a lot of big cats and other fish-we tried it out and everything seems to be fine-it's been about 3 weeks and he hasn't called with any problems-I am still bummed about the whole thing-I mean my water is good I clean the tank-I just don't know what I did wrong-we'll he's still happy and grumpy like before.
Right now I decided to swtich to more placid predators-I have a CK, Ocellaris Bass, Red Oscar, and an Ornate Bichir-great fish-but I really miss having my Umbee.

ohh I see...I juss got started getting back into keeping dovii's and now I have my F0 or F1 Nicaraguan Male Dovii that im keeping...I miss my umbee too ahaha :nilly: well atleast yur umbee is in a new big home...
 
Meant to say one eye is messed up but the other is okay! One day when the time is right I will have a male dovii and male umbee-yes one day! LOL ! I guess one can dream!
