you have a very nice looking TSN. It will turn out beautiful. But it grows fast. So, keep a bigger place in mind as you'll need it in the next few months. Good luck. Keep us updated.

I agree don't start him on feeders. If you do want to do feeders, I'd suggest to put them in their own tank, like a Q tank, feed them very well for a few weeks, fatten them up and make sure they have nothing wrong with them.
 
I have a similar problem trying to get food past my Oscars down to the bumblebee cat who's always hiding. I usually reach in and put an algae wafer into a hole in his driftwood or I put a cube of frozen bloodworms/shrimp into a 3/4" pvc pipe and let it slowly sink straight to him. I have to give the oscars something to distract them or they'll try and squeeze down with him and eat all his food though.
