The harsh lights of the afternoon sun is really affecting how the colors comes out, making the pics look washed out. The only pic that really shows most of their true colors is the last one.

No they're kept in their own 55L enclosures. Honestly I was quite nervous about the male making a meal out of the female in that photo shoot.
