I'm also in Florida. Where are you at? I'm setting up a rather large tank and if you're looking for a good home for any of these guys, I'd be happy to help you. They are some beautiful fish. I do have to say, for being in such a small tank (relative to fish size) your water impresses me. I could also trade for another fish if you'd like.

It is a armored catfish. I catch them in a canal at the end of my street. Their non native to Florida, but they eat every thing and keep my tank very clean. My parents won't let me get a bigger tank. I have 150 gallons of filltration on it and most of the fish have stopes growing. I think the gar is a spoted gar I caught him I the same place I got the cats. The big red and silver fish is a red pacu
??? :screwy:

Let me first start off with saying this...With ANY hobby you always start off small. When I started playing golf I didnt go out and buy a set of Pings, no I bought a set at Walmart. Now in saying that.

You would have been better starting off with common topical fish. I have had tanks since I was your age (now 35) I bought my first 55 with I was in my low 20's NOW I am upgrading to a 75. I know you probably didn't know better or you wouldn't have done this. Here is something that you can take with you for the rest of your life. Always think things out before you do them, think of the benefits or repercussions. I want to add a Rainbow Shark to my stock, granted they claim to max out at 6" but my tetras might become snacks therefore I will pass.

I hope the situation improves and you find something you can put comfortably in your 55 that you are happy with and enjoy.
